Juggling Roles

Are you running as fast as you can, but you still drop the ball, disappoint others, or simply do not have time for yourself? Doing it all can be exhausting. Not surprisingly, many people struggle with stress and aren’t as happy as they would like.

I share research-based insights that help people juggle multiple roles. Most people have multiple roles, such as employee, friend, partner, parent, sports club member, church member, or volunteer. We want to do it all. How can you be happy while juggling multiple roles? I answer this question in my forthcoming book “Work-Life Strategy”. The book will be released on May 30th.

In the meantime, you can read research-based management tips under insights. Happy Reading!

I study employee well-being. My research topics include employee recovery, workaholism, work-life balance, and physical activity. I am motivated to find an answer to the question of why people work in the way they do and what work styles improve work outcomes, work-life balance, and well-being.

My work has been published in top academic journals such as American Psychologist, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Academy of Management Discoveries, and Journal of Organizational Behavior. My research has been featured in the Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal, The Conversation, and Globe & Mail.
